The optionally available overload protection device (OLL) is a slip clutch mechanism that prevents the action of excessive load on the product. In case of excessive load, the slipping clutch is activated and lifting is no longer possible, the load can only be lowered safely. For you, this means greater safety and prevention of product damage.

The impact-resistant, double-walled gear housing protects against deformation and damage. The heavy-duty cover design is secured with three close tolerance bolts for secure positioning of the gears and pinion shaft. The components are aligned so that the gears, pinion shaft and chain can run smoothly. Is it also important to you that the product is not too loud during use? No problem! Due to the unique bearing in the gear housing, the gear train is guided, accurately fitting, stable and therefore quiet.

The high-performance load pressure brake with a brake disc thickness of 3.0 mm ensures high durability and intensity as well as performance. The Kito CB stands out for its reliability and takes the physical strain off the operator. For you, this means: higher safety, less wear, longer service life and durability - thus lower maintenance costs.

All gear wheels and the load pinion are forged, machined and then heat-treated. This ensures maximum resistance and material strength.

The GS certificate for "Tested Safety" has been recognised worldwide as a safety mark for years. The seal is only awarded to products that undergo voluntary quality control and comply with the legal requirements of the German Product Safety Act (ProdSG). The Kito CB and CX Manual Chain Hoists and the Kito LB and LX Lever Hoists have been awarded the GS-label "Tested Safety" mark by the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) since 2007.

The planetary gear ensures 7-fold lifting speed in load-free operation (up to a maximum of 10% of the nominal load). The braking function is separated from the planetary gear to ensure complete safety. The operating forces at full load comply with CB standard specifications.
