KITO: Donation to Kinder- und Jugendhospiz Regenbogenland in Düsseldorf

You can’t add more days to your life, but you can add more life to your days!

This is the guiding principle of the “Regenbogenland” in Düsseldorf. Something that doesn’t belong together meets here: carefree childhood and death.

In the children’s hospice Regenbogenland, children who are terminally ill and have a limited life expectancy remain as inpatients. The families receive help to make the remaining time together with their child as fulfilling as possible. Affected children can also be taken in short-term care in order to temporarily relieve the parents. All offers are free of charge for the families, as the children’s hospice is largely financed through donations.

We would like to help to bring many happy moments to severely ill children! Instead of Christmas gifts, we donated to the children’s hospice Regenbogenland in Düsseldorf this year. On 06th of December it was our pleasure to hand over the donation check to Mrs. Katja Schweeberg. Even though our donation is only a small contribution, we are glad to be able to support this important institution.
