DÜSSELDORF, February 25, 2016 – Kito Europe GmbH announced the establishment of Kito Chain Italia S.r.L. by its parent company, Kito Corporation, Tokyo, Japan; and the acquisition of the assets of the former Weissenfels Tech Chains S.r.L., located in Fusine, Italy.
The transaction was completed in early February.
Kito will continue the Weissenfels brand, supplying “H37” hallmarked products, including a full line of G80 and G100 chain, chain accessories and master links. Historically, the Weissenfels brand enjoyed a strong reputation for premium quality products, and is well recognized within the industry as one of the most modern chain production facilities in the world. The company reports major investments are planned to enable the supply of their lifting chains and accessory products globally.
Kito is a worldwide leader in electric and manual chain hoists, with subsidiaries or partners in all major global markets. Their European sales and supply effort is headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany, providing new product supply, spares, and before and after sales support.
