CeMAT 2011 in Hanover a complete success

KITO on hand with products and Japanese flair

Whoever visited the CeMAT, the world's leading intralogistics trade fair, between 02 and 06 May 2011 and stopped in at the KITO stand in Hall 12, Stand C40, could sense the atmosphere: an interplay of wide-ranging products, product innovations and Japanese flair. At its stand spanning 130m², KITO had placed everything on display that had made this Japanese maker of hoisting equipment successful and ultimately so well known throughout the market.

KITO Lever Hoist in a class of its own

For a wide variety of demanding applications

KITO's comprehensive range of hoists would not be complete if it did not also include lever hoists. The hoists available on the market nearly all have one thing in common: they are mainly restricted to the functions of lifting, lowering and transport. Products for customer-specific applications going beyond these functions are often neglected in their product portfolios. Customers frequently need a hoist which, in particular, can also be used for dragging loads: in ship-building, for example, where sheet metal plates are pulled into place or where beams and girders have to be connected together. Here, precision work in very confined spaces is particularly important.

Spoilt for choice …

Statement by Frank Klohr, CEO of KITO GmbH

If one takes a close look at the world of hoists, it is impossible not to notice the huge number of product variants. There are cable winches and electric chain hoists designed as solo components, as single-, and twin-track trolleys. Then there are electric chain hoists specially designed as workplace equipment and hand chain hoists used mainly for professional applications for which other products cannot be used because of their relatively limited applicability.
